Actor's daughter awarded $10.1M from Roger Rodas Estate

"The amount paid by the estate of Roger Rodas into a trust for Meadow Walker only covers a fraction of what her father would have earned as an international movie star had his life not tragically been cut short," the 17-year-old's lawyer Jeff Milam said in his statement.

"The amount paid by the estate of Roger Rodas into a trust for Meadow Walker only covers a fraction of what her father would have earned as an international movie star had his life not tragically been cut short," the 17-year-old's lawyer Jeff Milam said in his statement.

"Through his estate, Mr. Rodas, the driver of the car, took partial responsibility for the crash. Meadow's lawsuit against Porsche AG – a $13 billion corporation – intends to hold the company responsibly for producing a vehicle that was defective and caused Paul Walker's death," Milam continued.

The settlement comes days after Rodas' widow Kristine lost her unrelated legal battle against Porsche after a court judge dismissed the car manufacturer of all four vehicle defect claims.

As we earlier reported, Rodas and Walker were in a Porsche Carrera GT that ultimately crashed and exploded in Santa Clarita, California, on November 20, 2013. The actor was in the passenger seat of the car at the time, and both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Meadow has not backed down from her pursuit for "justice" with Porsche whom she has filed a lawsuit against the car company claiming they were responsible for her dad's death.
