Armageddon-star Liv Tyler publicly celebrated her son, Milo, graduating from high school. The actress took to social media to announce her son’s milestone, allowing a rare glimpse into her family life with some photos.
Milo is her oldest son.
Liv Tyler’s 18-year-old son had his graduation ceremony early June. However, it was only recently that the actress and daughter of Aerosmith’s vocalist, Steven Tyler, decided to share the news with her fans online. On Instagram, the actress gave her 2.5 million followers a sneak peek into what the day was alike with a series of posts.
In one of the posts, Tyler showed that her son had graduated from The Thacher School, an elite private boarding school in Ojai, California, on June 3rd. “This happened,” she wrote in the caption. “What a journey! So SO soooo proud of you Milo.”
She also posted family photos that included her posing with Milo and her 6-year-old daughter, Lula Rose, as well as Milo carrying his sister on his shoulders. And among the congratulating comments in the posts, some users pointed out how much Tyler’s children resembled her, particularly Lula. “Her daughter is her clone,” one user wrote.
The actress is a mother to 3 children.
Tyler shares Milo, who was born in December 2004, with her ex-husband, musician Royston Langdon. She also has 2 children with her current partner, David Garner, a British sports and entertainment manager whom she met in 2014. Her middle child, Sailor Gene, was born in February 2015, while her youngest, Lula Rose, was born in July 2016.
The actress’ family is a blended one, as she helps raise her husband’s child from a past relationship, a 10-year-old boy named Grey. In an interview, she revealed she doesn’t mind the difficulties of having a blended family. “It’s a beautiful challenge, and something that evolves every day,” she said. “It’s about paying attention to each other and to the family dynamics. You have to be flexible, resilient and really aware of each other. And life is like that, you know?”
